Tie Kuan Yin (铁观音)
Iron Guanyin in Chinese, this is a tea from Anxi in South Fujian. It is very famous, in fact a 'Chinese famous tea' and very popular.
Anxi is the name of a small region in the south of Fujian province. Oolongs which leaves that are shaped into loose ball shapes originated from here. Nearby counties are aggressive producers as well, but we shall refer to all these oolongs as Anxi oolongs for unity in conceptual definition.
Huangjin Gui(黄金桂)
is a premium variety of Chinese oolong tea traditionally from Anxi in Fujian province. Named after the yellow golden color of its budding leaves and its unique flowery aroma, said to be reminiscent of Osmanthus.This oolong is similar to Tieguanyin, with only a little oxidation. Consequently, it has a very flowery, delicate aroma with out the astringency of a green tea or the heaviness of a [Black_tea|REd/Black Tea].

Da Hong Pao (大红袍)
is an important Wuyi Black tea. Due to its high quality, Da Hong Pao tea is usually reserved for honored guests in China.
Xiao Hong Pao(小红袍), or Small Red Robe refers to Da Hong Pao grown from plants of fourth or greater generation
Shui Jin Gui (水金龟)
is a very characteristic Wuyi Oolong tea, whose name literally means Golden Marine Turtle. The tea produces a bright green color when steeped and is much greener than most other Wuyi Oolong teas.
Tie Luo Han( 铁罗汉)
Legend tells that this tea was created by a powerful warrior monk with golden-bronze skin, hence the name Tie Luo Han, which means "Iron Warrior Monk".The color of the leaf is very green and the resulting tea is of a lighter color. The taste of the tea should be full-bodied and supple, with gentle floral notes and the traditional long-lasting finish.
Bai Ji Guan(白鸡冠)
Legend has it that the name of this marvellous tea (White Cockscomb) was given by a monk in memorial of a courageous rooster that sacrificed his life while protecting his baby from an eagle. Touched by the display of courage and love, the monk buried the rooster and from that spot, the Bai Ji Guan tea bush grew.Unlike most Wuyi teas the leaves of this tea are yellowish rather than green or brown
Rou Gui (肉桂)
the name literally means Cinnamon.
The tea can be difficult to prepare but its distinctive sweet aroma can be brought out up to 7 steepings. It was first developed during the Qing Dynasty.
This tea may be traditionally processed producing a dark dry leaf and a rich smell or processed according to new consumer standards, giving it a leaf of mixed color and a more fruity aroma.
Shui Hsien (水仙)
meaning water sprite or water faery.
it has a heavy honey fragrance. Cheaper varieties are grown elsewhere in Fujian and have a burnt taste and are very popular with Chinese restaurants. The infused color is very dark brown showing that the tea is a very dark Oolong.
Ban Tian Yao (半天腰);Waist Halfway to the Sky;is a very rare Wuyi Oolong with a light smokey taste

Fenghuang Dancongs(凤凰单枞)or Phoenix Oolongs from GuangDong Province

A family of stripe-style oolong teas from Guangdong Province. The doppelganger of teas, Dancong teas are noted for their ability to naturally imitate the flavors and fragrances of various flowers and fruits, such as orange blossom, orchid, grapefruit, almond, ginger flower, etc.
This is the most delicately produced oolong there is. Its long, slender, and tightly twisted curly leaves aptly reflect the origin of the Chinese name oolong, i.e. wu-long — Black Dragon. It has an origin that is another strong argument that it may very well be the oldest form of “wu-long” — Mount Wu-dong of the Phoenix mountain
Old oolong tea trees abound in these deep mountains of Phoenix. These are ancient plant varieties which unique tissue structure date back to over one millennium (note) and are the progenitors of the prevailing traditional group of cultivars — shui-xian — in the regions of both Wuyi and Phoenix.
